Mesotherapy and CelluliteMesotherapy is the most effective and long lasting treatment of cellulite available. More than 90% of women are affected by some degree of cellulite. This condition is a disfiguring source of shame and embarrassment that literally affects a person's confidence and overall sense of well being. Before Mesotherapy came to the United States, there was no cure for cellulite. Fortunately, Mesotherapy has been a safe and successful cellulite treatment in many European and South American countries for years. We will select and create a mesotherapy formula based on your degree of cellulite. During treatment, the formula is painlessly injected into the cellulite at regular intervals along the affected area. The process of correcting cellulite typically requires 10-15 sessions per area. Mesotherapy and Fat ReductionMesotherapy can target specific areas or spots where your body stores excessive fat. The customized mesotherapy formula injected in a specific area blocks the cells from storing fat and helps break down the existing fat cells. After mesotherapy your body then naturally flushes out the broken-down fat. Spot fat reduction can be used on the stomach, waist, thighs, arms, butt and any other area where your body stores large pockets of fat. Diet and exercise always maximizes your mesotherapy results. Mesotherapy TechniqueWhen you arrive for your mesotherapy treatment, you are escorted to our specially assigned mesotherapy room. A potent anesthetic cream is applied to the skin surface to maximize your comfort. Soft, soothing music will be playing in the background to put you at ease. A topical solution will be used to cleanse your skin. Then, using a very tiny needle (the size of an eyelash), our doctor injects the medication into your target areas. Patients describe the sensation as a momentary, light pinch to no pain at all. All patients will be asked to follow a healthy diet. And because toxins are eliminated, patients are encouraged to drink lots of water to flush these substances, along with dissolved fat, out of the body. Exercise is needed to circulate the medications used, with either walking or other aerobic activity at least three times a week. Patients report that the more mesotherapy sessions they have, the easier the technique becomes. What is Mesotherapy?Mesotherapy is a technique invented in 1952 by Dr. Michel Pistor to deliver medcations just below the skin surface. While pills expose the entire body to chemical side effects, mesotherapy medications are injected only where needed. Mesotherapy targets fat and connective tissues under the skin. Mesotherapy greatly improves cellulite and stubborn fat pads like the love handles, baby belly, and saddlebags. Over the past 50 years, more than 15,000 physicians worldwide have used Mesotherapy. Who can have Mesotherapy?Adults between the ages of 18-75, who are within 50 pounds of their ideal body weight and in good health are candidates for mesotherapy for spot fat or cellulite reduction. If you have any of the following conditions, you are NOT a candidate for aesthetic Mesotherapy:
What are the Side Effect of Mesotherapy?Mesotherapy performed in the USA has very few side effects. After your mesotherapy you may resume your normal activities. Mesotherapy usually causes slight bruising which resolves over 3-7 days. Swelling from mesotherapy is mild and lasts only a few days. Some patients notice a little itchiness for 2-3 hours after their mesotherapy. |
